Excellent location in centre close to train and bus stations. Don't be put off by front entrance which is in a lane next to Nordstan {Swedens largest shopping mall)and looks a little tatty. We were in basic room to rear so no views. Room facilities adequate. Small empty fridge useful. Can buy drinks and sandwiches in reception. No in room safe. Breakfast buffet very good. Didn't eat in resturaunt but direct link to Pizza Hut in mall from hotel which we did use and enjoyed.Toileteries supplied cosisted of liquid soap at sink and shower gel dispenser in shower.Basic hairdryer and also iron and ironing board. Hotel also has gym,pool and sauna which we didn't use.We were on 6th floor very quiet. Would stay here again at right price. Not as luxurious as Radisson Blu a couple of minutes away where we have stayed before but better value.

Top Tip
Loads to see in Gothenburg.Liseburg theme park good for kids,but open short summer season. Padden boat trips a must too.Boat museum very interesting but have to be reasonably fit. Can walk to most sights but if using tram network easier to buy gothenburg pass which covers transport and entry to most museums. A day trip to islands in archipelago is lovely for more adventurous and we also enjoyed natural history museum. Warning many attractions are closed on a Monday.

The shower/bath was a little old and direction of water was all but down!

Is quite a large hotel, a bit unpersonal because of the size but otherwise very clean and a good selection at breakfast

Enjoyed a nice meal at Piccassos (?) up near Heden and just near the main st and a boat trip on the Gota from the harbour

Great hotel, the price is definitely reasonable for the type of place that it is. The breakfast buffet is awesome.

The swimming pool was a bit of a disappointment and there was no lights on in the sauna. The breakfast was fanstic, one of the best ever.

We were disappointed that we could not share a sauna together. There is no fun for us in sitting in a suana alone when we had planned a weekend together.

Top Tip
Botanical gardens are wonderful. Public transport is excellent and easy to use. Buy a multi ticket, it's much cheaper. Use the ferry to visit the archepelego. Much cheaper than the tours. A visit to the islands is a must!

Walking is good in Gothenburg, hardly any traffic anywhere in the city.If the weather isnt so great then trams are readily available anywhere.
